Our history is comprised of great first steps, followed by attentive and meaningful decisions that keep us at the forefront of the automotive industry. Starting in 1981, our founder, Jim Yark, first opened the doors of what would become Yark Automotive Group. And in 1998, Yark Nissan opened its doors to the world before relocating in 1999. Through years of dedication and putting the customer first, we proudly built a new facility in 2010, giving our customers more reasons to choose our dealership.

Throughout our long history, we've been recognized as sales leaders in the industry since 1995. In 2006, Jim Yark was recognized as the regional winner of TIME Magazine's Quality Dealers of the Year. And in 2019, John Yark was also recognized as the regional winner of TIME Magazine's Quality Dealer of the Year.
