Have you ever wondered why we're able to enjoy so many vehicles in the awesome new Nissan lineup here in the United States? Some vehicles are imported to us here at Yark Nissan from Asia, but what you may not know, is that many models are actually produced domestically at the production facility in Caton, Mississippi. Six Nissan autos are made there, currently, and a seventh will soon be joining the lineup soon: the Nissan Murano.
The capable crossover will join other prime Nissan offerings like the Nissan Titan and Nissan Xterra on the production line, working towards the Japanese automaker's goal of producing 85 percent of its lineup stateside.
Crossovers like the Murano are an excellent option for drivers in the Ann Arbor, Canton, Farmington Hills, and Monroe MI areas and beyond, and represent the innovation and advanced engineering that is available with the help of Nissan parts.
Lots of exciting advances are on the horizon for Nissan, not only for the Murano, but for several other models as well. The Resonance Concept also made its debut in Detroit, and will serve as an inspiration for modern design advances for upcoming model refreshes on the way in the coming years.
