RIDIN' LATE IN COUNTY 48 - A Charity Bike Ride

Our Nissan dealership in Toledo, OH, supports a variety of local organizations and events to help raise money for charity. If you'd like to also help out your community, feel free to join us at the Ridin' Late in County 48 event on Saturday, August 26, 2017. This family-friendly event is a slow bike ride through Toledo Memorial Park, the Sylvania River Trail and Pacesetter Park. Enjoy this scenic 13-mile ride under the stars during the best weather that summer has to bring.

The slow-ride goes from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with an after-party running until 1:00 a.m. This 13-mile ride begins at Spoke Life Cycles at 6363 Monroe St., with parking available for riders at Root Inc (5470 Main St.) or St. Joe's (5373 Main St.). Not feeling up to a 13-mile bike ride? There's a family-friendly route you can opt for that's just three miles. All riders must have a headlight and taillight on their bicycle to be able to participate, and helmets are required.

Last year over 150 riders joined us, and we hope to get even more this August! Plus, Ridin' Late was able to donate over $500 to Safe Kids Greater Toledo, helping to provide bicycle safety equipment and keep them running safety seminars throughout the metro Toledo area. All participants will receive a complimentary event t-shirt, and the first 300 riders will receive battery-powered LED light accessories from Brightz, Ltd. This will create a spectacle of color as the cyclists make their way along the path!

Registration is just $15.00, and you can purchase a pair of cycling lights for an additional $15.00. Please come out with Yark Nissan this August to help us support this fun event! There is no rain date. We hope to see you there!
